Lawrence A Rosenthal
Lawrence has spent the past 30 years in publishing in a variety of roles. He has worked in marketing, international sales, and in rights licensing management as it relates to the higher education, K-12, trade and ELT sectors. Lawrence most recently managed Pearson’s Global Rights Licensing team which was responsible for over US$26m in annual rights income. He was also responsible for Pearson forming many international strategic partnerships across South America, Europe and Asia.
Shawn Rue
Co-Founder, V.P. & Head of Licensing and Asia Market Development
Shawn is a licensing expert with 20+ years of licensing and market development work across Asia. Shawn most recently served as Senior Rights Licensing Manager at Pearson where he was responsible for driving significant growth via licensing and forming alliance partnerships in the Asia markets. Shawn is well positioned to continue driving growth due to his knowledge of the North and South Asia markets.
Simon Pollard
Representative Europe, Middle East, Africa Market Development
Simon brings a wealth of sales and marketing management to RSG as it relates to the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Simon has been involved in book sales for these markets for close to 25 years during which time he managed a sales team which consistently met or exceeded sales targets. RSG benefits from Simon’s insights into the trade and the numerous high-level contacts he has ‘across the pond’.
Head of US Market Development
Doug Derringer
Doug is RSG’s resident US market expert. For the past 30 years, Doug has been working closely with all the major US distributors and resellers. He is well known in the halls of Amazon, Ingram, and B&N as well as with independents and big box stores such as Costco and BJs. Doug offers a very significant opportunity to publishers who are seeking to establish sales in the vast US marketplace.
